Science media — frontend and layout

A large media website with design prepared by another studio: our scope was the full frontend code, page layout, and editorial interface behavior.

We owned the code, layout, and interface behavior in a live editorial product

The design was ready. The site had to become real.

What we did

  1. Frontend

We built the interface of a large media website from an existing design system: pages, states, responsive layouts, and reusable editorial blocks.

  2. Layout

We turned layouts into production code so long reads, short news, cards, lists, and utility elements could handle daily editorial work.

  3. Scenarios

We refined reading, navigation, and publishing behavior: the site had to open materials quickly, keep the feed rhythm, and survive unusual content.

Our role

The visual design belonged to another studio. We do not present it as our work and keep the client name undisclosed in the portfolio. The point here is our responsibility: turning design files into a working media product that handles real texts, traffic, editorial habits, and edge states every day.
